Guest deleted2159825
All, Does the NCR have enough infrastructure to take care of orphaned children? I want to get your views on this, because it pertains to one of the quests I'm working on. For example: If I kill/capture a certain criminal (wanted by the NCR), would his child be left to fend for themselves (in true wasteland fashion), or could the NCR take possession of the child and place him in an orphanage/foster home? Or do I simply have to write and script a "find a home for Bobby" side quest (for players that want good karma, anyway)? (Like that kid in FO3). I don't think there's a "right" answer, but I'm looking forward to the feedback (I try to keep up on my lore, but I know there are some real experts here at the nexus). Thanks! Quetzlsacatanango
I would say yes, maybe not in the classical orphanage sense that you're thinking, but they would certainly try to find a place for an orphaned child.Bitter-Root in Camp McCarran was an orphan of Bitter Springs that the NCR took on. Nihilisaurus
Yeah, there are places in the NCR for orphans, like Quetz said they picked up Bitter-Root although it isn't an official thing from what I can gather, it just 'accidentally happens'. Guest deleted2159825
Alright, I just read up on Bitter-Root. Now I can proceed with the quest knowing that I won't be flouting lore. Thanks, guys!
