Demeggy
Now then now then, I'm at my wits end. It's a fairly generic and not uncommon problem with New Vegas from what I can gather, but I'm having major trouble with Archive Invalidation. Custom textures just refuse to show up, either with it active. Is there anything I could be missing here? If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd be eternally greatful, seeing as how google and forum search bring up options I've already tried. LtRhapthorn
FOMM has a built in Archive Invalidation, although I do wonder if it works. Simply go to the tolls menu in FOMM. If it is already active, de-activate it, then re-activate it.

RadicalScorpion
Well, one option that's available is to get rid of the textures .bsa altogether. Just extract all of the files into your New Vegas data folder, then move the .bsa archive to a different location (I wouldn't recommend deleting it). This definitely isn't an ideal solution to the archiveinvalidation problem, but it does work.

I'll give it some thought. Cheers.
