I was playing around with the "meshes" and "textures" folders when... I broke the game.

So, I would like the ORIGINAL "meshes" and "textures" folders, please.

back up your save games and reinstall the game

That's exactly what I did, but the files won't go. They're still there.

after backing up just the savegame files ,uninstall the game completely(with savegames,maybe not settings ,that won't hurt),then install freshly.

anytime you mod the game (or simply use mods in your game) you should have a backjup copy of the "data" folder saved somewhere to restore corrupted game files with ease.

 

 

do this after reinstalling the game before you mess with anything :thumbsup:

 

 

its best to completely replace the data folder after corruptions instead of just the files you worked on because you never know what else you might have touched and forgot about or things that are "off" from other modding efforts but you havent noticed
