love lord666
im kind of a player that likes to work hard like doing quests, collecting loot to sell it. so when i get a much better armour set or a weapon i really have the feel that i have earned it. but now with all the item mods like ak 47 that you find in a trash bin that only costs 40 caps. so i thought to make a major change using GECK is to change the cap cost of every item included in fallout3 and all my other installed mods. so is there fast and complicateless way to change the items cap values that wont make me having spending weeks browsing through my files and changing each item cap value. i got hundreds of hundreds item mods already installed on my FO3 mod manager. please any help, tips, hints would be really useful! 7thsealord
If all else fails, you could use a console command to simply load up with extra caps.
shubniggurath
Yes, there is a way to increase the cost of all items by making one simple .esp file. You just have to change thefBarterBuyBase
fBarterBuyMult
fBarterSellBase
fBarterSellMult values in the gamesettings. open yuor Geck, make a new esp file, go to the gamesettings and filter for fbarter. The filter then shows these four entries. change the fBarterSellMult number to a lower one and the fBarterBuyMult to a bigger one.A value of 1.50 will make all items cost double caps. A value of 0.5 will cut all costs in half. Fiddle around abit until you have your desired outcome. Greetings,S.
