Is it possible to fix the Official Threads of old mods?

I thought it was just one of my mods, but having looked through them all, it would seem that the old Official threads:

A) Don't include a link.

B) Replace returns with <br>.

 

It would probably be a bad idea to simply update the threads of ALL mods uploaded before whatever date this was changed, but would it be possible to either:

---Allow an author to cause the thread to be updated (probably by appending whatever the current version is to the end of the original post, so as to prevent posts in the thread from losing their context) OR

---Have a thread in which people can request that a given mod, or in the case of authors, all their mods, be updated?
