miahyliby
First off hello! I have been away from computer gaming for a few years now. And as such I have not kept up on the technology. I want to start playing Oblivian, Fallout 3 and Dragon Age, but I know the computer I have is using onboard video. I have a Gateway LX 6200-01. It has everything else I need to play these games I believe, but the videocard. It has a pcie x16 slot, but I do not understand these things very much anymore. Could someone please maybe post a few examples of cards I could install in this computer that would allow me to play the games I mentioned. I tried finding them myself, but the whole version 2.0...2.1...has me a bit confused. Thank you in advance!
Erik005
Cards that you could install are a nvidia gtx450 or a ATI Radeon HD5770. But before you do this you probably need to upgrade your powersupply, it currently has a 450watt one of questionably quality. You should decide if the upgrade is worth it or if you should look into getting a new one.

If so UPGRADE the power supply. That said there are some pretty combo deals on WWW.Newegg.com.The Rosewill PSU's represent good value for the specs, but are of inconsistent quality. There are, however, some nice combos with Corsair or Antec power supplies. Before you buy, read the reviews!!
