ArmoredKingyo
I'm trying to make a new terminal, but I need to use a model. I can't seem to find the default models for anything at all. When I play the game, I see the terminals and everything, so I know that the models are being loaded from somewhere in my computer, but I can't find them to use them. Anyone know where they are? For what its worth I use Steam too.
davidlallen
All the model files are packed in "bsa" archive files. If you want to look at them or modify them, get fallout mod manager (foom). This will let you unpack a bsa file like winzip does for zipfiles. However, if you see an existing item in geck which uses the model you want, simply type a new name for the item in the object window, and then click "yes" when it asks if you want to create a new object. This will copy the old object, including all its model references. Then you can edit your new item by changing the script, or whatever other things you need to do.
