LE The Pilgrimage

This is a very simple idea.

Skyrim is full of shrines, apart from the ones located in towns, there are many secret shrines in the wilds, on mountains and sometimes in caves. Usually the locations are stunning. But there is no reward for traveling to them, appart from stealing offerings xD Check out the elder scrolls wiki, there are always several beautiful locations for every kind of shrine.

My idea is a quest, that would make you walk on foot, take a pilgrimage and visit all of the shrines of a particular divine. Every pilgrimage would start in the main temple of the Deity and end in the temple of the Divines in Solitude, visiting all the secret shrines on the way. Additionally the quest would fail if you used fast travel. And instead of a quest marker, you would have to find the shrines by yourself using a pilgrims guidebook. The guidebook would explain the way straightforward, like a real guidebook would, no need for mystic symbolism or secrecy. The reward would be a permament blessing, more powerfull than the usual one you get for praying.

But additionally, we could include a pilgrimage quest to shrines of the Daedra. Since there is usually only one shrine to a particular daedra, the mod would include another secret shrine somewhere. The guidebook would be written in riddles, as Daedra worshipping is shunned uppon and the need for secrecy remains.
