Continuous crashing

So, I recently completed the Dawnguard questline. As soon as I stepped out of the castle, it seems like this is when my troubles began. If I fast travel anywhere, I crash, without fail. This isn't abnormal, sometimes the game lets me, sometimes it crashes, no way to tell what mood its in. Usually, I can fast travel to inside locations like a city without a problem. However, this is where the fun starts. If I approch cities at all, I crash. If I fast travel inside of them, I crash after around 15-30 seconds in whiteruns case, while in Solitude I crashed immediately. Previous saves work fine, but I don't understand why, seeing as nothing changed between then and now. I will post my most recent papyrus log and my mod order.

Saves from before I did blackreach (that's the closest I have to the current one) seem to work, as I was in whiterun without trouble. I really, really hate blackreach. It looks beautiful, but I hate doing it with all of my heart, mind, and soul. Going back before that is an option, but one I would desperately like to avoid.

Hi

 

Check the size of your save before & after the DLC. The extra info in the save my be putting you over the edge.

 

Run Skyrim Resource Monitor on both saves & compare.

The size difference is 16.4mb before, 17.2mb after. I havent tried to run the other program yet, I'll do so now and edit it in.

EDIT: Actually, after looking the readme over, it seems to conflict with a few mods I already have installed. Would you have any other suggestions? I was wrong, it is only the FPS counter that wouldn't work. Give me a bit, I'll get the specs up.

 

EDIT: The overlay does not seem to be showing up.

Yup, I can't get the overlay to show up. Read around, I presume its an issue with ModOrganizer. I did configure the program the way the MO instructions said to. Still not working. Any other suggestions?

Run your load order through Tes5Edit, let it select all your active mods and just click OK when it's ran. It will go through and check for all files that the mods need and if you have any out of order. It will also tell you if you're missing something outright.

 

That you can load a previous save and be OK tells me it's likely something that corrupted your current save and may not be related to your mods at all. But it's always good to validate the load order first.

 

I suspect you may need to load a good save and go from there. It happens some times. You can try to clean your buggy save, although I've had mixed results with that myself, it may help.

 

Let us know what Tes5Edit says about your load order.

I'm not sure what to post. TES5Edit didn't change the mod order any from MO, though, so it's the same as the one in the OP.

Running Tes5Edit won't change your load order but it will tell you if you have problems with your load order. Files out of sequence type thing. Since you were playing fine that may not be an issue but always good to rule it out. If you haven't cleaned your game files it can also cause crashes.

 

I suspect you've got a corrupt save game and will need to revert to a save prior to this issue happening then trying again to progress. If the error comes back then it may be something with the quests, have you cleaned your game files?
