keranaci Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) As you know in Witcher 3 investing points in skills is not enough, you have to equip them like you equip items to activate them. This is the worst system i have ever seen in a RPG game. What's worse there are only 12 skill slots, not enough for many of us. While RPGs are becoming less and less restrictive these days, promoting open worlds and freedom of choices and such, how come their skill systems are becoming more and more restrictive? I can't believe there are developers out there who think that giving the gamers restrictive skill systems is a great idea. Limiting available skill points to balance the game is acceptable, but giving us damn skill slots and limiting them to 12 is not acceptable. Witcher 3 is such a great game, too bad i can't enjoy it while its skill system is giving me cancer.Dear modders, i ask of you to increase the number of skill slots considerably if you can, or even better disable the slot system completely and make any skill active all the time, provided you invested skill point/s in it. Seems like we are out of luck untill REDKIT comes and we don't know when it will be released. Now i'm really disappointed, why make such a skill system without asking the fans? They should have used the good old non-restrictive skill system. Anyway, seems like this guys method is not bad at all: What I've done to circumvent this issue for the time being(that is until we get RedKit for W3) is to add all previous skill effects from T1 - T3 skills into the T4 skill of each roster.
