New on mods installing.

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm a complete newcomer on DA:O modding (I frequently install mods on TES and Fallout series, but I see that installing these mods is very different compared to those games, at least in my opinion) and I would like some help (better if you give me a step-by-step guide) installing these mods:

-Extra Dog Slot

-Dialogue Tweaks

-Equal Love

-Improved Atmosphere (and a pack of Compatibility Patches)

-Lock Bash

-Morrigan Restoration Patch (and an Equal Love patch)

-ZDF Dialogue Fix (Dialogue Tweaks compatible version)

-PT Vibrant Colors

-More Hairstyles (and a pack of Compatibility Patches)

-Dragon Age Redesigned

If any mod conflicts and there is no patch for it, then i'll delete one or both of the conflicting mods, no problem.

PS: I've never played it, but in DA:I, my character of DA:O is supposed to make an appearance (or so I heard), will it have the hairstyles, colors, etc. that I've used with these mods?

Read the mod authors' instructions

Do what they say.

Maybe also read this article for a better background understanding. "Using Dragon Age Mods for Dummies".

Thanks, I readed the authors instructions, but they were kinda confusing, so I'll look for the article.

@GothicWarrior; Please don't hijack someone else's topic. Start your own instead.

That said, to install a ".dazip" mod correctly you'll need to use one of the "mod manager" programs. The built-in one is "DAUpdater.exe", which is found in the folder "\bin_ship" under "C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\" (or wherever your particular install mechanism placed the game itself.)

If you don't want to use that, then the Dragon Age ModManager (DAMM), the Dragon Age Modder (DAM), or Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) also know how to handle ".dazip" mods.

Have you read the 'read me' file?

There is no read me file here.

The problem is that auotloot isn't the mod that contains dazip file. I know how to install these ; D And sorry, just didn't want to spam with a new topic

Autoloot is a ".dazip" file mod. :armscrossed:

You're not funny. The package is made in ZIP file that I can unpack. There I find folder Contents and Manifests.xml. I'm asking You where put this thing?

Dazip file is one file that I pick in daupdater to install. This doesn't work like that.
