Gobananas01
Ok, so I was wanting to make a simple mod that replaces the "You have commited crimes against skyrim and blahblahblah" with the infamous Stop right there criminal scum soundbyte from Oblivion, but I'm not sure how to go through with it. Can anyone walk me through this? Edited May 30, 2015 by Gobananas01
Anikma
Well firstly it illegal seeing as you don't own the rights to any resources used by oblivion, and thus they cannot be used in anything but oblivion mods. If you want to record yourself or someone else saying the dialogue then that's OK, but using dialogue ripped from oblivion is a breach of copyright. I've seen a whole bunch of mods that replace the fus ro dah shout with the phrase, so why can't it be done here?

Do you mean the mods that replace the Unrelenting force shout with the sound from the trailer? That's not breaching anything because that's still something belonging to Skyrim. You can't legally take something like this from Oblivion and put it into Skyrim.

ZZZ02
You can use it for your own game in private if you make it but if you upload that here you will be banned and I don't think we are even allowed to tell you how to do it.
Noortje
There is a reason this shout mod isn't on the nexus. It's illegal to take stuff from oblivion and port it to Skyrim.
