Crowjj Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Hi, I'm trying to get as much immersion in the game I can. That's why I use "No NPC Compass Ticks". That is also the reason I don't like Boones perk. It breaks immersion. In army, soldiers use hour system to tell, where the enemy is (For example "Enemy at 10 o'clock"), which perfectly fits the way the NPC compass works. That's why I was wondering if it's possible to change the way Boone's perk works, to get rid of shader effects, instead allowing NPC ticks on compass. I was trying to do it myself, but couldn't find the parameter to change iHUDMaxCompassNPCTicks in a perk, and I'm not good at scripting. I also know, that changing NPC ticks to 0 as as default setting (without Boones perk), renders ED-Es perk useless, that's why I'd change it to "Ballistic Calculator". ED-E would monitor the weather, wind, elevation and distance to the target, and tell what kind of corrections should player make to shoot effectively. In other words it should give +10 (or more) to small guns, and, maybe in cooperation with Boones perk, the vanilla effects. Is it possible? Can anyone help? ghussak Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 I dunno how to help on the ED stuff but I like the idea, thats why I put my perception to 1, to not be able to see foes I am, well..., not seeing :/I think also all NPCs should have less perception, to cope with our lessened perception? :) (how can they be sure we are a foe THRU THE WALLs? :O ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
