RespectTheInternet
It hit me that of all the games on the nexus forums, only Dragon age modding has grinded to a near complete halt. What is it that has left Dragon age in the dust while such games as oblivion and F3 Still keep moving? That's not to say the quality of the games are less than the other, but any thoughts on the matter?
Retribution
Dragon Age isn't suitable for extensive modding because of its linearity.
Thandal
Agree with Retribution. Once people have "made the changes they care about", they're pretty much done (player or modder). The re-playability of Dragon Age lies in the huge variety of origin stories, encounters, and responses available to the player. All that is "built-in" by BioWare. Fallout and Oblivion are designed as open world games from the beginning, and I think "just wandering around" is part of the point.
RespectTheInternet
Hmm I see the point. The linearity is something that cant be overcome.
