Repair Hammers Disappeared from Inventory

Hi everyone,

I am having some problem with repair hammers.

I have got about 20 of them and they started to disappear from my inventory few days ago.

At first, I solved it by quicksaving and quickloading and everything was fine. But now they are completely gone.

I am using Offical patch 1.1511, OOO1.31, unofficial patch and couple of other mods, but no one that affect repair hammers or inventory (except BT mod).

I tried to disable all mods except OOO, Unofficial Patch and BT mod, but it did not help at all.

Does anyone have the same problem? Is there any way to solve it?

Thanks for any help!

Quick fix: Open the CS, load Oblivion.esm, and find the relevant FormID. When you need hammers, use the AddItem console command.

Consider this cheating? Keep track of how many hammers you SHOULD have, and buy more whenever you "run out".

EDIT: I'm sure you know this, but it never hurts to be thorough...hammers do occasionally break when you do repairs.

Hi,

I tried using console command, but it did not help either. I have got a message "Repair Hammer added..." but it did not appeared in my inventory :(

I tried to buy some hammers from traders, no effect. Still no repair hammers in my inventory.

But thanks for your tip.

P.S. I DO know that hammers break sometimes :D

Have you tried:

Disabling BT Mod.... exit game... re-start game... enter game... save game.... exit game... re-enable BT Mod... load saved game... check inventory again...?

It's been known to work sometimes in these situations, but exactly *why* it works remains a mystery. :P
