If so, How? 2) How do i get my terminal to reference a custom picture? 3) Is there a limit to the level (submenus) of a terminal? davidlallen Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 Unless I am mistaken, a locked terminal requires you to pass the minigame each time you use it. Not sure what you mean by a custom picture. Do you mean, you want the terminal object (the "monitor") to look different when the player looks at it in the room? Or do you mean you want something besides green text on the screen when the player is using it? I'm pretty sure you can't change the green text to put a picture. But you can make the "monitor" look different by retexturing it. You can search for "retexture" here and find many guides. There is no practical limit to the depth of submenus. I am sure the program would eventually choke if you put, say hundreds of levels; but most modders would be bored to create that and most players would be bored or frustrated, to have to deal with it. About the locking terminal....If my player goes to use it and unlocks it with a password or minigame.....can he re-lock the terminal after he is done? Not sure if it really matters as I don't think anyone will use it but the player. I made a fun terminal with lots of levels and funny references. davidlallen Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 I am pretty sure the terminal does not allow you to change behavior of relocking. So, if the base game terminals do not relock, there is no way to change the behavior to relock. As a player, I would be annoyed if a terminal which I "hacked" suddenly became locked again.
