Seriously.....

It's said people can get mod help in here. So far I've not gotten a single answer to any question I've asked. Not a single offer for the help/assistance I need to make this mod I've been working on. Not a single word. Seriously people. You shouldn't label an area as somewhere to get help if no one is willing to do so. Guess I'll try and find some other forum to see if I can actually get some help with my problem.

No... forget that idea. This kind of thing will probly be universal. I'll just give up on my project. Who cares if others would like to have it. No one is willing to help.

The thing is, a lot of the kind of modders you'de need for a big project have their own big projects. Inexperienced modders (such as myself) are afraid to help with big mods in big ways. Plus, you can't expect the 100 odd people who frequent these boards to come to your beck and call.

People probably aren't responding to your questions because they just don't know the answer, unable to help, or don't think your ideas are that great. Plenty of other people have received help so there is no reason this forum should not be named what it is. Also, there is the mod troubleshooting forum that you can try and might have better luck on.

Most modders are busy with modding or answer their comments and don't have much time to visit the public forums.

To your problem: You can't just merge two complete different things with blender. You want to merge a static with a creature. Thats not possible, unless you body weight and rig the added object. This is something, that requires some serious 3d modelling skills. If you are beginner, the best is, to forget about it. Otherwise learn 3d tutorials about rigging. Something, not many people on this forums are capable of anyway and therefore mostly can't help you.

Weighting and rigging are exactly what I was planning to do. I have information for a lot of things but the texture problem I am having has me at a standstill. I figured many people have info or knowledge on texturing around here, I didn't think I was asking for too much. The person who made the BNB mod knew nothing of modding when she started and look what she came out with.

Weighting and Rigging is not enough, you also need to create a entire new set of animations and skeleton... really, I doubt it's worth what it would take... beside that: Even if you could accomblish this, your mod still wouldn't be possible, because you can't place anything on top of a creature or actor. This is limited by the engine. So, your Idea having a Bighorner with a Cart and place your stuff on it just can not work, no matter how hard you try.

Aren't there rideable horses in oblivion?

I thought the OP's concept was a companion with a high, or unlimited carry capacity to carry all the "junk". This is certainly possible, although I agree creating this type of brand-new model is a tremendous undertaking.

I have a feeling it would be a furniture marker in the saddle nif. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/GetSitting

Or just built into the engine. But just for actors that can sit, to use.
