LBFF
I have a strange ring of transparent terrain centered on the player, I'm stumped as to the cause or solution  The only world space altering mod I run is Nevada Skies, but the error persists even after its removal and a new game. http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/814/screenshot0ln.pnghttp://img715.imageshack.us/img715/2858/screenshot1vs.pnghttp://img843.imageshack.us/img843/9052/screenshot2co.pnghttp://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1451/screenshot3ro.png apologies for the big images
LBFF
I'm still getting this error, the only progress I have made is to almost certainly exclude it being an LOD issue. If you have had this error too please post a solution, or just detail the circumstances under which it occurred so that a permanent solution might be found
davidlallen
My guess is that Nevada Skies is not fully removed, or else in removing it, you removed some other part of the sky art. Some modders recommend that before you install any mods, you make a full backup of your "data" area to restore in a case like this. Is it possible to double check that tall the files it installed are gone, and that there are no "new" files in your data subdirectory? I don't think there is an automatic way to do this. If I am right, then a re-install would also fix it, but that is more painful.
LBFF
So I finally resolved this bug it occurs when fNearDistance is set to a value near 0, setting it to 2 or greater resolves the bug. (5 is default)I had done this to solve clipping issues with some iron-sights, an idea I borrowed from the Deadly Reflex oblivion mod. Further discussion on fNearDistance here: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/297110-fneardistance-and-dependent-values/ Edited February 3, 2011 by LBFF
