are there any stock player safehouses in game

hi everyone! Victor's Shack @ Goodsprings worked fine for me lootin everything there + clean water and bed. 150 hours back and nothing disappeared from desk or oven/ammo box...

now interested about adding mods for this fallout, newbie for this kinda stuff.

anyone, give me place in here where to look first things...

thanks for the info, some things take 3 or 4 days (in game time) to respawn / reset everything there so it sounds ok but it would be nice if you let us know for sure after about a week in game time to be safe

 

 

as for mods, ...... well IMO there are about 50-75 essential mods you need for the game to work as it should but nothing is required.

 

as far as bugs go the game is in good shape but lots of things in vanilla game dont make sense or you can see it was supposed to do something different so mods help with that.

 

the nude, sex, and prostitution mods are amusing at first but its a game not a cartoon porno so IMO leave the porno for the internet and keep the mods simple and for good reasons and your game will be good without all the nudity some think it requires.

 

my personal taste is not to use any mod that requires the script editor, once you start messing with the scripting system you better damn well know what you are doing and be willing to fix any issues that come up as side effects and while a very few modders care enough to do it i dont want to risk screwing up my game because of some unintended mod conflict.

 

 

oh, and ONLY install mods using the FOMM fall out mod manager

 

last point is many mods are done by people who arent experienced so they can be hard to figure out or not even work properly so expect a few of those things and read ALL of the feedback before trying them
