gvr1138
Yo! Forgive me for being lazy, but I figured someone else here might have figured this out before me. I'd like to start a new Fallout 3 game, but I've grown attached to my current character, home, etc. so I think I'd like to revisit once in a while. Is there any easy way of starting a second game without losing the first one? How do I keep track of saved games, etc. Do I lose the old saves if I start a new game? (obviously I'm not going to try it until I know for sure). Thanks!
WastelandAssassin
when you start a new game, all the old saves will remain however, if you use quick saves and auto saves, the next time you use these, they will overwrite, and you will lose these saves from the last playthroughbut any "new save" (a save that doesn't overwrite a previous one) will work just fine as for keeping track, each save should have the name of your character and all, so this should tell you which save you are about to loadnot sure if you can organize the saves to an order of your choice, but if you don't keep too many saves, you should find the ones you want really easily something else that you can do, if move all of your current saves to a new folder, and then when you want to load one up, just move it from that folder to the normal save folderthis will help you keep the save list small and organized
