I'm a Fallout modding aficionado and a GFX Designer from Venezuela!

I joined this forum because i recently got New Vegas and i love modding games.

I'm thinking on start doin mods for NV, but i will need some suggestions, so any help would be highly appreciated!

I'm hella good making signatures, so if anybody wants one just ask for it!

would also like to see some of your GFX art

 

as for modding the game, what exactly are your strong points??

do you plan on learning how to make models or textures?? or would you rather do some heavy GECK work?? or maybe a mix of both??

because if you plan on learning specific things, you will be able to mod in a specific field, not all

i would recommend you to start by learning the GECK, at least the basics like item configurations and settings and such

 

as for the signatures, i might actually take you up on that :biggrin: (always wanted a good one, but i have no experience at all on the matter)

I will try to mod item stats and such for the start, then i'll start with cells and such.

I can texture but modelling isn't really easy for me...

if you can create textures, then you should go with that as well

 

you will need NifSkope unless you are planning on making replacements, but i think that a good direction for a mod is to make unique versions of existing weapons without unique variations (and a retexture can make the whole difference)

 

there are probably many more things you can use your talents for, but i can't think of any right now :biggrin:
