Dasim4 Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 There is already a mod for the Ultra Luxe that lowers the water level in the pool to prevent the NPC's from swimming there. Apparently it fixes the issue with the game crashing in that area. I've noticed that whenever I'm swimming around and going in and out of the water a lot, such as along the river below the Hoover Dam, I start having an unusual number of game ending crashes. I'm wondering if my companions are somehow triggering this. Has this been looked into at all to anyone's knowledge. I was hoping that maybe the fix for the Ultra Luxe would have brought that to someone's attention. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As a matter of fact, ever since I entered the strip, the damned game CTD or freezes to the point of being unplayable. I've tried quite a few of the "tweaks" out there but nothing seems to work. The funny thing is, I never crashed until I entered the Strip for the first time. After that, everything started to suck big time. I have 2 5850's in x-fire with the 10.12 drivers. Prior to this, I had the latest Asus drivers posted on their website, I can't remember what version they are.
