Beard Scruff; Converting FO3 to FNV

Hey all!

I'm just wondering if someone could quickly convert thisss... http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14200 To FNV. I've been wanting just a lite fur scruff for my characters, and this is all I could find. I know I could learn and do this myself, but I figure it'd be quicker for someone that knows the roads instead of me downloading a bunch of programs and dilly dallying for a couple hours.

i don't think you need to convert anything

just download this, and put the file in your New Vegas folder

this will do the same as it did for FO3, but for New Vegas

this won't, however, be a new facial hair option

it will do the exact same, as in give the same unshaven look to all the adult male characters (if they have a beard, this won't be seen)

 

i can't confirm this to be working (as i haven't tried), but i did the same with another mod, and it worked just fine

I had the same Idea since its just a texture, and just tried it but no luck :/ Perhaps the file is named a little different then in fo3? I'll go check a similar FNV made mod. Much thanks though!

I took the initiative since its so early in the day.. found this small guide and it worked! http://www.newvegasnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=14 Idk if this is a common thing to do or not since this is my first time putting mods into FNV, but yes now I'm satisfied :) Case closed.

so what exactly did you do??

did you rename the file??

 

glad you were able to pull it off, but it may be useful to know what you did to make it work
