Mod Recommendations to Graphically Overhaul New Vegas?

So I'm coming back to New Vegas after about a two year absence with a much stronger computer. I desperately want to play fallout again but unfortunately, I'm a sucker for gorgeous graphics. I've been playing newer games lately (GTA 5, Dragon Age Inquisition, etc.) and I'd like to get Fallout New Vegas to look as good as it possibly can. I know there are a ton of mods to make Skyrim look like real life.

 

Does anyone have any reccomendations for mods that will overall make my game look better? I would like reccomendations for an ENB as well since I do not yet have one installed.

Well, choosing ENB is even more subjective than any other mod, and mainly the only thing that limits people is the ability to run said ENB.
As for other "beautifying mods", start with some general HD-ish textures (like NMC's one), then add some, that those didn't cover (like UHQ Terrain), maybe some better body models (don't use them myself, so can't help here).

I would suggest installing texture packs before trying ENB. I was unhappy with enb adaptation and contrast until I got texture packs that were darker than vanilla. What worked for me:

 

Rudy Enb + Rudy Weathers.esp

 

New Vegas Flora Overhaul - grass texture only

+ Grass mod + ini tweak grass density =40

 

NMC pack - as base

OJO BUENO High Quality Texture Pack

UHQ Terrain

on top of that roads from NMC

 

Hectrol mods

Book of Water by aMidianBorn

Wasteland Clothing HiRes

Ghouls Hires Retexture

FeralGhouls Hires Retexture

Fallout Food Package Retexture

 

Weapon Retexture Project

IHWT - Improved Heavy Weapons Package

 

 

Make sure the archiveinvalidation didn't block textures like roads/trees/signs/mailboxes/bikes.
