Complex Character Creation

As you can see in the description or in the title, my question is simple: How can you make your character in more complex ways?

Don't know what I mean? Well as I scroll through many random mods I keep seeing amazing characters which can nowhere to be found in oblivion. Recolored skins, bigger breast, lower waist, bigger muscles, lower fat and so on. I also tried to find a character model made by someone that fits me. As far as I searched none could be found.

IS THERE ANYWAY TO MAKE MY OWN MODEL? Just as I want it, to suit me.

 

My english is very sleepy right now, so please excuse many of my mistakes which I cannot find ^.^

these things aren't character related, these are the global models and textures that you are seeing (both are global for all the races that use them, while there are races that have customized ones)

 

so, can you make your own?? yes, there are many mods like this

but it's not something easy, and you should know what you are doing, before you try to do anything

 

i would suggest you to go to the Browse Section page, and look at the Models and Textures section (i think that is the name)

scan the mods there, you should probably look at the most endorsed or most downloaded mods there

you may find exactly what you are looking for

it's not really global editing

 

each race is defined (amongst other things) by a mesh and texture for each gender (although i think you can make races with only one gender)

now, most races use the same body mesh (even most of the custom races), but the textures are sometimes different (more easily seen in custom races, however you can easily see that an orc is green while an elf isn't)

 

the point of this is that if you install a specific body mods (like HGEC for instance), then all the races that use this specific body model, will now use the HGEC body model

so if you download such a mod, and modify it to your liking, all the characters whose races use this specific body model (which is all the NPC races in the game, and most of the custom races) will show your modification

so you can do this, but it takes quite a bit of skill to do this

 

but with the huge variety of body models and textures around, you can probably find at least one to your liking

all you have to do is look :)
