MeenaMinaMoe
Here's the deal, I use NMM for Fallout 3, and Iv'e had great luck with it so far. It's easy to use once you get the hang of it. Steam recently had a sale, so I picked up Fallout: New Vegas with the intention of modding it. I downloaded NVSE and let NMM scan my system for NV. It found it, everything's great, whatever. Here's my problem: After installing my mods, the did not show up in the game. Okay, I can fix this. I make sure that the plugins are checked off, everything is not only downloaded, but installed, etc. I go in game, and my mods are still not showing up. Can anyone provide any help or feedback? It'd be much appreciated. Also, anytime I exit and re-open NMM for NV, none of my mods are checked off under "plugin". Just wondering if that has anything to do with my problem. Quick edit: I forgot to mention that I tried to install a mod manually (Underground Hideout), and it still did not show up in game. The necessary esp files are in the right spot (in the data folder). bben46
Did you start the game the first time through steam and make a save? That is needed to set some things up in the game.
MeenaMinaMoe
@bben46 Yes, I started the game through Steam and played around for a bit. I then saved it, exited, and attempted to mod, to no avail.
bben46
Have you tried the latest update of NMM? v0.55.3 It fixes several bugs.
Throseph
I also had issues with NMM and FNV, so I gave MO a go. It's working brilliantly and is actually no more complex than NMM if you don't need it to be.
MeenaMinaMoe
@bben46 - I'm completely up to date. I tried restarting the system, and accessing the game through both Steam and through NNM (using NVSE). Nothing worked. :( @Throseph - What is MO? I'd really like to give it a shot.
