xcomvic
Pretty much I've had very bad luck with the mods on this site getting them to work with the Ultimate Edition... always some kind of texture issue happens on the ground...usually starts at the camp, but go on to everywhere I go. Sometime it'll start in Dererim. In either case, I get the DLCs from Bioware to work good, the items (helm of the deep, rings, etc.) but can't get any mods from this site to work. I especially would like the respec mod to work Haha! Can anyone help? And to summerize this... texture issues only happen when I started installing mods from this site, I tried the Phoenix Armory one( which looked awesome) and respec 1.6. few others too, but can't remember, I've had to reinstall the game a few times to get my saved games to work (i saved them luckily BEFORE i started DLing the mods), I've used BOTH the DAuploader(official one that came with game) and DAO-modmanager. HELP please:) I would love to get these mods to work on my game and not cause issues! And yes, I have read all the instruction of how to properly add these mods in...I am NO NEWB... Thandal
And yes, I have read all the instruction of how to properly add these mods in...I am NO NEWB...And yet thousands of other players have got those same mods working correctly, so you are doing something different on your rig than they are on theirs. (BTW, the UE doesn't have anything special about it. Just an installer that insists on loading "all-or-nothing".) First, do you have the retail disc, or is this a Steam or D2D or other digital-only install? Second, what mods (specifically) do you have, and which ones (if any) are working and which aren't?(Tip: If the list is over half-a-dozen, please use the [ spoiler ]...[ /spoiler ] tags to prevent hogging screen space.) Third, what are the locations (paths) where you're attempting to put which mods? Fourth, you say you've read the instructions for the mods, but what about the Manager? DAMM is significantly complex, and it's easy to miss some steps with certain mods if you're not paying close attention.
