GuardedJake Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Hi, i'm fairly new to modding, and I need testers BAD but i can't seem to find where the .esp files that I made with CS are. Can someone please tell me where I can find the .esp files? If so thank you.
TheSwedishPancake Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 The data files should have been saved to Oblivion\Data. If they weren't, try to save another .esp and note the file path to which it originally tries to save. If that doesn't work, check the Data folder, Oblivion folder, or My Documents folder; the files are likely to have been saved there. When you find your files, I'd be glad to help you test your mods.
GuardedJake Posted January 29, 2011 Author Posted January 29, 2011 (edited) Alas, I did this, it DID track into the Data Folder, I seeped through all my mods but found neither the .esp i was looking for or the one that i used to track *EDIT:* Also when I saved it at the files I have there are little locks next to the files (I use Windows 7) Edited January 30, 2011 by GuardedJake
Genzel Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I remember having to click a button on the top bar of the folder labeled "compatibility files" for my .esps to show up. If that isn't there I would search the data directory for the files.
