cloudstrife480
I had recently installed Fallout 3 GOTY. However, when started playing, Fallout 3 started acting strange. The NPCs twitch around and move back and forth. They will not even attack me. (Mainly random Raiders and enemies.) I have tried uninstalling, turning on and off the AI, and other things. If it is of any use, I have the Steam version, and I was using TCL (No clip) and TGM (God mode). I also downloaded a few mods.
ThelastKaveman
Have you tried it with all the mods off? You probably have, but its worth asking.
cloudstrife480
I know I wouldn't have these problems without the mods, but it's just more fun with them on. Do you know how to fix it? Do you need to know the mods?
ThelastKaveman
Well just uncheck the mods, then, if the problem is gone, put one mod on then check it, then put another one on and check it etc
cloudstrife480
Thanks for the help. But out of curiosity, what if the problem reoccurs?
ThelastKaveman
Well I'm not an expert with computers/video games so you'll have to get someone else to help you if the problems persists, sorry
cloudstrife480
It seems to be all the mods that replace/add textures. (Ex. New armors, new race/face selections, etc.) To anyone on the forums, do you know how to solve this? (Without removing the mods?)
roquefort
It seems to be all the mods that replace/add textures. (Ex. New armors, new race/face selections, etc.) To anyone on the forums, do you know how to solve this? (Without removing the mods?)It's possibly a conflict between mods. If you post your mod list (in the order they're loaded in-game) somebody might be able to help you out. Without that there just isn't enough info. The other trick you could try is to disable all mods, then enable them one by one until the problem reappears.
