Nephelus
Playing with an armor mod in FNVEdit the other day I saw that there were 11 Biped Model Objects that are not listed in the GECK. Unknown:20 through Unknown:31. So, I tried applying Unknown:20 to one of my armors but the armor was completely invisible until I changed it back. I haven't tried to use any of the other Unknowns since. I was just wondering if these are essentially useless or if there is a way to get them to work in game? It would be cool if this could work because that would prevent some of the accessories I am working on from using the same slots as other items. nivea
There are 20 Biped Object slots in geck, about 5 of those are off limits to "accessory" items (head, hair, weapon, pipboy, upperbody, the hand slots might not work if you do not know what your doing too so that is about 7) as they would not work well or not show at all. The rest are all fair game to use. Keep in mind the BodyAddOn1-3 are for decal use, so using those removes decals from your character. I personally use almost all of them for my own custom accessories, in my Spice of Life mod and more in my personal mods. But its best to use GECK so you can see what the slot is named and do it correctly.
Nephelus
Thanks Nivea but I'm perfectly aware of the stuff you can see in the GECK. I am asking specifically about the Biped Model Objects called Unknown:20 through Unknown:31 that can be see in FNVEdit. nivea
Yes and I am saying it most likely is not usable, judging by the fact that Bodyaddon1-3 are decals I will assume that <Unknown: 20-31> are either decals or not used really at all. Course the super easy way to tell is to take a working hat, duplicate it many times in geck (place it in a chest in goodsprings) and then change the slots to 20-31 in FNVEdit. The hat should have no reason to not show up if they really are usable slots, if the hat does not show up then its likely they are unusable for equipment. devinpatterson
I am asking specifically about the Biped Model Objects called Unknown:20 through Unknown:31 that can be see in FNVEdit. 3.1.0 has been updated for Skyrim, I think those are the extra slots for Skyrim. As to why your seeing it while editing FONV, I'm not sure, it might be a bug. Under 3.1.1 they don't show up for me (just the standard FONV 20).
