xJamesG
Okay guys - I have been looking and I was thinking of either getting the HD 5770 or the GTX 460 - But I really don't have that much money at the moment to spend on things I might not need.I mainly do editing using Adobe CS5 (now you can see where my money went -.-) and do a little bit of gaming on games like Minecraft, Fallout 3, Burnout and Operation Flashpoint - Although I really don't do too much gaming at all anymore ...Will upgrading my card from the NVIDIA 210 to one of these make a massive amount of difference? Or am I better off getting a cheaper one and saving myself some money? Thanks (:
CommanderCrazy
It will make an immense difference.Of the 2, I still recommend the GTX460. Shiny DX11 features...

I thought the 5770 had DX11 aswell?Would I be better off saving some money and getting the GT 240? Not really sure what difference DX11 will make as none of the games I run (not that I really use them) are DX11 compatible? EDIT:In fact only one of my games is DX10 compatible ... Vecna6667
Since you have Adobe CS5, I'd go with the nVidia cards then. Their CUDA compute cores take advantage of that program's playback engine. EDIT: The 5770 does have DirectX 11. It's just the earliest gpu model to have it. xJamesG
What nVidia card would you suggest?I was looking at the GT 240 because it also has Mercury Playback ... Then maybe run 2 SLI?
CommanderCrazy
The GT240 desnt have DirectX10. These things aren't necessary, but are certainly very nice to have.
