"How" do I install DAO Mod Manager on Windows Vista

I have tried and tried to download and install DAO Mod Manager but I guess something is lost in the translation. After I download the file to my computer, I can't get it to install, because it says that it is not a dazip.7 file. I guess if I could ever get it to install, it would probably be easy to use, but I have spent days and days, hours and hours just trying to install this and no one has actually said how to install it. I have seen the video on youtube that shows the guy using it but he doesn't actually say how he put the DAO Mod Manager on his computer to begin with.

Welcome, StaCCat!

Sounds like you didn't read the instructions for installing DAO-Mommanager (DAMM). It isn't a mod itself, it's an executeable, so you don't use DAUpdater or anything that expects a ".dazip" file.

Go here: "DAO-Modmanager on Nexus", and read what Altorian provided on the "Description" tab.

Oh, WTH! I just looked and it's trival. Here ya' go:

=======================================

Install:

Unzip the file on your computer with 7zip.

open the folder and start the DAO-Modmanager.exe

Uninstall:

Delete the folder (Caution will also be deleted all mods in the folder)

=======================================

Note that while "7zip" is specified to uncompress the downloaded file, most of the current versions of Windows utilities for handling these kinds of things (e.g. WinZip, WinRAR, etc.) will recognize the format.

Let us know how you do...
