Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a robe from awakening. I don't know the name of the robe but I have seen it used in "Improved Atmosphere" mod. Could someone tell me the name of the robe and how to extract it from the toolset?

Heyas Boodri! :)

Ok, well... I'm afraid that I'm not going to be able to help you out as much on this as I would like to. Simply for the fact that I dont have awakening on my system, so I can't look up the file locations for you :(

I can tell you tho that the files you are looking for will be packed up inside of .erf files, which you will have to open via the toolset.

The awakening files are located in your addins folder, in c:/user/username/documents/bioware/dragon age/addins.

Tho I'm not sure of the exact foldername that they are in.

They have the same set up as far as folder structure as the original game does tho, in the installation directory. So in the install directory, all of the .erf files that you want to look at are in

C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\packages\core\data so packages/core/data is where you wanna look in that addin folder that DAA installs to.

I BELIEVE that the .erf files that you will want to look in, are-

designeritems (if you want the .uti files for the dress)

materialobjects

materials

modelhierarchies (maybe)

modelmeshdata (.msh file should be here, thats the mesh)

shaders (dont think so, but better safe than sorry)

textures (definitely this one)

tints (dunno about this one.)

It really has been a long time since I extracted any of the item's models and textures, so I'm afraid that I'm pretty off, as far as directly knowing which files they are in. But those are the ones that stand out.

And I DO remember that I needed to crack 3-5 different erf files before I got ALL of the ones needed.

And mine was from Origins. I doubt that they are, but some of the DLC files bioware locked. As I said, I dont think that the Awakening files are, but it's a very slight possibility.

And as far as that particular dress' name... I am sorry to say that I dont have a clue :(

I really am sorry that I dont have a better answer for you than this, but hopefully it will at least get you started in the right direction.

I most definitely wish you good luck on your project!

Ooops. Forgot about how to extract. Sorry!

Once you've got such and such particular .erf file open, you just look thru the list of files that are in it. Once you find the one(s) that you're looking for, you just right click on it, and choose extract and then tell it where you want to extract it to.

That part of it is pretty easy. ;)
