LyktstolpeN
Ok, here´s my problem: I have downloaded a couple of mods and copied the files to the data folder, the esp ones to. I start the launcher and going to activate the mods in the data files so im checking the esp boxes in the data files and click ok, after that when i check the data files again the mods are not active and there is no "check mark" for the esp files. I have tried reinstall and i trust steam to have the game up to date. Anyone have a clue what the problem could be?
Loneshade
that|s the way to do it... sounds like windows can't store the changes...?!Are you logged in to windows with an admin user?
WastelandAssassin
why bother using the game's data files, when you can use FOMM??it's much better and easier to use, gives you the option to modify your load order (which is a must if you use more than several mods) and has other useful functions so my suggestion to you is to get FOMM and also NVSE (which is required to run FOMM) and use that instead
LyktstolpeN
Im the admin on the computer and UAC is off. Tried using FOMM but when i try to activate a mod with that i get a error that says like "Something bad seems to have happened" and after that it says access to the path denied. From what ive seen its a file called plugins.txt i cant access, but i am admin as i mentioned before so how can i fix that?
