Ironscar20
Hi Everyone, this is my first mod that I am building. And simply its a modular "home" that can be built in the quiet neighborhood of Rock Creek Township. I'm making this mod because the homes in the base game were very boring, however I enjoyed the idea of working towards filling them up. The homes added by many mods were interesting, however they were already completed as is. I am creating this as a go between. The house won't be inside a separate cell but will be out in the wasteland so that you can enjoy the night skies, and possibly be attacked by the nearby enclave camp when it activates. The house starts out as a small camp with a bed, a trunk, and a broken terminal (Which can be fixed to provide background on who lived there before, as well as giving information on where to find materials for fixing up the houses). All situated within one of the old Burned out houses, and guarded by raiders. Then by collecting building materials, you can improve it. Cover up windows and walls. Extend the upper floor. Place in containers, shelves, lights, a better bed and anything else I can come up with. It will be up to you what you add and when. Some things will require previous items to be built. The floor expansion for example can't be built until you have some strong metal beams to help support it. Complete the Floor then you can add some storage on it. But others will be up to you when you build them such as Storage, covering up walls, Defences etc. A lot of the items will be in the surrounding area, but others may require you to trek in the nearby DC ruins. I started creating this a couple of days ago, and then today I saw the glorious build-a-base that will be in Fallout 4, so a disclaimer, it will be nothing like that. And here are a few pics, (not much yet, will be adding extra storage soon). Ironscar20
The idea is that there will be multiple spots in the house, and you can choose what you put in the spot from a list (If you have the required items). Then down the line if you don't like where you put it, you can pick it up and place it elsewhere in the house.
