RomenXelkorta
I NEED HELP! This what i did, i extracted "FALLOUT - SOUND.BSA" to a folder called "SOUND EXTRACTION FOLDER", then edited it, then i opened "BSA Creator", then i clicked "Add Folder(s)" i click-highlighted "Sound Extraction Folder", then clicked "ok", so that way the structure would say "sound/" and so on, i then placed it next to the original file then i deleted the original, then i renamed the new file to the original, and fixxed the permissions to match the original aswell, its all in capps, do i have to edit the FALLOUT INI or something? And now i have no sounds just voices I have 2 backups one for modding and one for backup files incase i messup modding. Can someone tell me how i get my sound file to work that i edited. davidlallen
It is probably not a good idea to delete the original files that came with the game. If you are trying to change one or two of these, please read about "archive invalidation" in the FAQ in the adjacent "talk" forum. Hopefully you still have the original game file, maybe in your trash bin. Putting back the original is the best way to solve this problem. If the original is gone, you can view one of the other bsa files to see what the directory structure inside looks like, and then double-check that your new bsa file has a similar directory structure. Maybe you have accidentally added, renamed or deleted one level of hierarchy in the folders inside your bsa.
