Razielplaysskyrim
Hi, my name is Raziel and I am full of ideas for modding but lack the know-how to make them a reality. This is why I am askinf for help.I was wondering if anyone might be interested in tutoring me in the ways of modding. I am ver smart and quick to learn but I can't learn without a teacher. I have Skype and an Alienware 14. I have the Elder Scrolls Anthology and am ready to install any other tools you may want me to use. I am ready to arrange Skype calls and If money is an object I could pay you if completely necessary but I would like to keep costs down. I hope to hear from someone soon! Thanks, Raziel
Guest deleted5528329
Hi raziel making mods can be fun sometimes what i suggest you do is start with small things like making a follower or a house than making bigger things as you get better with the Ck. Also you can not offer to pay here on the nexus nor can anyone charge you it is against the rules. if anyone does try to charge you refuse and report it to a moderator or administrator. here is a guide to using the Ck in it are 10 links to tutorials on how to use the ck. I how this helps you and good luck. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim%3aCreation_Kit
jennawatson
According to your profile, you have been in this universe only a few months. You probably have not yet experienced the real pain and frustrations of getting your hands dirty with Skyrim's technical side. I suggest a self imposed "modders bootcamp". Start by installing and reinstalling Skyrim 20 times. Then follow that with installing as many mods as you can, until your game breaks, the try to use logical reasoning to chase down the problem. Next, install and test and re-install at least 4 ENB files. Learn to get an "intuitive feel" for how each setting will affect the game's performance and appearance. But if you want to really master modding: learn about the function of each "file type" used by Skyrim. Then learn about video card drivers, and how they are applicable to supporting visual effects in Skyrim. Then learn about textures and meshes, "from a Direct-X" PERSPECTIVE. Then learn how to draw well and apply those skills to a program called 3Ds Max. Then read up on HDT. In summary, there is no shortcut. It is a commitment that comes from inside, and it cannot be given to you by someone else. So, if you are ready, Go get it Razielplaysskyrim. JW.
