dual value modifier in description

Fyi, totally new modder, if this weren't such a (seemingly) simple fix, I wouldn't have attempted it.

I was frustrated by the same issue as the op in http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1062692-fortify-school-and-magicka-regen-fix/ which is that when I enchant robes with <spell school> and magicka regen (which together take up 1 enchantment slot), the magicka regen part is fixed at 10%.

I followed the suggestion of post #5, except that I set the AV Weight to 4, which should make the magicka regen value exactly the same as you would get from enchanting just fortify magicka regen. It seems to work fine, except... (there's always an except or a but, except when there isn't. But there is )

I set the description of the magic effect to:

"Destruction spells cost <mag>% less to cast. Magicka regenerates <mag>% faster."

When I loaded up in game, both <mag> show the same number, which is correct for spell cost reduction, but very low for magicka regen. I tried:

"Destruction spells cost <mag>% less to cast. Magicka regenerates <mag><4>% faster."

In game description, shows the correct cost reduction, but the magicka regen number is approx 2.5 times too high. I tested the actual time for full magicka regen, and it seems to be the same as a regular crafted magicka regen item (which is what I was going for).

Is there a way to have both the cost reduction number and magicka regen numbers be correct in the description? ie can I multiply <mag> by 4? or by AV Weight?

Not that I know of, you would need to seperate them into two magic effects on the same enchant to do that, text replacement is fairly.... limited. I think beth only do it once in their descriptions and just simply say 'does twice as much' to the second value. You may need to use an absolute value in your description if you wish to keep it the same effect (obviously that would only work if the magnitude was never to change :D ).

It is impossible to display the second magnitude. Placing a <4> does nothing but displaying a number 4 in bold beside the actual magnitude value (e.g. mag=30 and 304 is displayed). The game only considers <mag> alone as a tag in the description field. If you take a look at other effects using the Dual Value Modify archtype, such as the one for shock damage, they all use phrases like "half of", "twice as much" etc. because of the same reason, they cannot display the second actor value in the description field.
