Help with Modifying Weapon

Ok, so I was attempting to add a silencer and scope to an assault rifle, and i got it all to look nice and stuff, except it didn't have a texture. So now it is all pretty, but still white, and i want to know how I can make my weapon have a texture so I can actually use it... I have been looking for how to make a texture for a while, but most of it is just modifying a existing texture, and i didn't know if that would work for me or not... help?

what exactly have you done??

have you made a new model for the weapon, or have you added the scope and silencer through NifSkope??

because if you add this in NifSkope, it should keep the textures

look here

also, after seeing the first second of the video, it had a message that solved just this matter

if the weapon looks white in NifSkope, it doesn't mean that it doesn't have a texture

so try to make the weapon in the GECK, and look at how it is displayed there, because it should be fully textured

hope this helps

Well, all I had is the weapon in NifSkope, and what I want the stats to be in GECK, but when i try to set the NifSkope file as the model for GECK, it freezes up until I click on it, then it crashes. After a while I tried to right click on the file before I attempt, (and fail) to open. When I right click, I tried doing View, and it says "TEXTURES: (null) :(null) is missing a Diffuse Map (Several Enters) Context:DEFAULT "Yes to all" will disable all Warnings for this context." *Click Yes* then it says same thing but missing a normal map, *click yes* crash.... I think it was saying it didn't have a texture... I don't know what I did wrong, but it is probably cause I took the scope from a scoped pistol (mod from website) and the silencer from the silenced 10mm pistol... maybe using that mod for the scope messed it up, but idk, either way, it isn't working...
