Kvba Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Hello! I have been using Skyrim's Creation Kit for a long time now. A few days ago, I installed Fallout New Vegas and wanted to try out it's editor GECK. I must say it is a huge disappointment :(. After some fooling around, I have discovered that it is really hard to manipulate objects in render window (compared to Skyrim's editor). Sometimes it is so annoying that I want to just throw my computer out of the window :[. It is also almost impossible for me to create something in the FalloutNV worldspace, as every time I move an object, the editor freezes for a few seconds.. I am sure, that people who spent some time working in Skyrim's editor and then moved to Fallout's know what I am talking about.Of coure, I realise that the Creaton Kit is a somewhat further version of Bethesda's developement tools and it is newer and superior to GECK, but is there any fix or solutiuon that I have missed, that could improve the overall performance of GECK? Cheers! Kuba
Fallout2AM Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I did the contrary, I went from GECK to CK, I thought the contrary. CK is pretty hard for me.I guess in the end what you describe is just a matter of habit. The thing where I've seen a great improvement on CK is the world editing, all the other things are more or less the same for me (except object manipulation, that I consider GECK definetely easier than CK).Also, CK lacks of SCOLs, which sucks a lot.
