Delikatessen Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 I'm creating a sort of a guarded house for someone who requested it, and they also requested NPCs that lay on beds in the infirmary and if if you try to talk to them, a message comes up that says that they are unconscious.The only problem is that they ignore the sleep packages that were assigned to them. I created one male NPC as a test NPC for it, and it worked. I created a female NPC and used the same method to get it to lay down on the bed. The only problem is, when I went in-game to check it out, both of them were standing at the end of their beds (The position I gave them in the GECK). If you try talking to them, the messages come up that says they are unconscious.This also happened with the guards and the pet I have in the vault.I have created separate packages for the injured residents of the vault, but the guards all use the same package. The package is a Wander package that makes them roam around the vault.This is really confusing and I can't figure it out. Can someone help? Quetzlsacatanango Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Make sure that beds are furniture, not static.Make sure they have travel packages with the bed as the destination, and that the beds aren't owned by an individual or a faction the NPCs are not a part of. Delikatessen Posted February 2, 2011 Author Share Posted February 2, 2011 Okay, I just set the beds as the linked references for the two NPCs that are injured and they work correctly now.Now the guards only walk a few feet and then return to their original spot, instead of walking around the entire vault.
