The reason I ask for this scenery is that it is absolutely fun to drive the Ghost or the Banshee without irritating impediments such as trees, big boulders, or buildings. If you take a look at some of the screenshots on my image gallery, you can see how the nice the MJOLNIR armor-clad soldier and vehicles look against clean backdrops. If there are some skirmishes between UNSC troops and Covenants over steep mountains passes or rolling deserts, it would be really fun! One problem I have seen is that the Ghost cannot skim over water, it slowly swims half-submerged like a horse (which of course, it is)! So, I would request you guys to add Imp Walk to the Ghost, as it can be an excellent amphibious transport for quick getaways and from maneuvering through lush rainforests teeming with wildlife and huge flora. Creature Diversity mod has lots of interesting wildlife/creatures, so you can probably pick up some ideas from there for populating the worldspaces in your Halo mod. How will you make the guns work ? This has been a problem throughout modding. Guns just refuse to work correctly in Oblivion. There has been a few mods that have attempted to get it right , but no mod has ever fully done it. Of course , you can make the gun a staff , but the result is an awkward looking person holding an over-sized weapon. Not to mention the fact that you are casting spells. There was a mod that made a new bullet effect , but the lag was so terrible for it. Making it a bow would be hard as well because of the position and not to mention the terrible animation that would play when you try to shoot the bow.And making an all new animation for it would be incredibly difficult to do , mainly because you would have to edit the quiver bone, which is your ammo , so if you are planning on making a new animation for it , you would have to take all these things into consideration.Another problem with the bow is the speed of the shot , you would have to turn it into some crazy high speed in the cs in order for it to shoot like an actual gun.That would have course make the animation look bad. You should check out some of the gun mods on Nexus and see how they did it , and try to mimic a system that worked. I would advise not to try and edit the animations for the bows. Bows require so much attention , and the animations must be precise otherwise it will look goofy.I hope you can find an animator capable/willing to take on a task like that.Also , I saw in your above post that you said that you were going to add them as a separate item ? Well , it is not possible to add in new weapon types. It is hardcoded.Also , will you be able to take sides in your mod , and play as both Humans and Aliens ? That was one of the best things about Halo for me at least , but I think it will take up too much of your time to add in quests for both.And another thing , will this all take place on one landmass ? I loved the way Halo moved you from place to place.I know that its hardcoded, they were going to be bows, and the pistols staffs. You will only play as a Spartan, making quests, like you said, would be too much time for both. I'm already doing three different main storylines for the Spartans :P It will take place all on one landmass, not a ring-world like Halo, but an island. I suppose I can make one of the larger parts a desert, then the meadows I can do too. I just have to think of where I can have them transition, or if I just have them transition into Boiling Plains... :rolleyes: Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to look at the Creature Diversity mod, and look at the gun mods. But, it is a start. This tube will be used to put the Spartan Armor in. (For when you choose.) I'll also make some Cryo Tubes I think for when you have to go into Cryo... wait, I'll spoil that part if I keep going :P EDITModel has been completely redone, it looks a lot better. The cap/helm on the Brutes needs bit more finish, as it looks like a scalp rather than a helmet. Perhaps a glossier texture and borders on the helmet would help. The existing Spartan project already had the Brute and Elites as disguise armors. Did you built your Brute based on it, or is it different? Perhaps, something like this might be doable.
