StantonCree Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 My game has worked perfectly until 2 days ago. I only have 2 mods that I made and Dynavision. So I was working on my mod and I wanted to start the game to test some things out. And as soon as I start it, it runs for like 5 secconds till it reaches the slide with the Obsidian logo and then it crashes. I've tried running with no mods, tried with no dlc's, I tried deleting the game and reinstalling it from steam. Nothing has worked, I also tried deleting the entire falloutnv folder from My Documents. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON!! Everything else is working perfectly fine on my PC. StantonCree Posted June 20, 2015 Author Share Posted June 20, 2015 Ok.. I figured out what the problem was. It was related to my mod. But even though I disabled the mod from loading, why did the game still crash? I deleted the textures and meshes folder + the esp and everything worked fine. Actually I'm pretty sure that it was either the meshes or textures folder that gave me problems. Anyway, at least I didn't loose too much work. dRaGoNbOrN617 Posted June 21, 2015 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Hmm, wish I had an answer for you. Something in your mod was so corrupted that it was corrupting the entire game? IDK man. I just solved my crashing problem, it happen every half hour to an hour, I also have a heavily modded game, I realized it was the auto save that was the culprit, I turned off autosave and I have been playing my heavily modded new vegas for 2 days now crash free :3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
