mewfii
You know when you install a mod if it's zipped and you install it like it was a FOMod? Well sometimes FOMM, in the Package Manager area, when you do that you see the mod name, the person that made it and what version it is but twice, one for the version you just put on and the one that's available on the web. Now sometimes you install a higher version and the web version turns red but says it's an older version, that can really frustrate someone. Now what you should do to be safe is, install your mods and filter out the ones that work and have no red bar on either version, then if they do have a red bar, don't activate the bunch that are the same yet, just start to activate then from older to newest and upgrade them first, then if there are more then one of the same version, activate them all and don't overwrite them so it looks like they are all on, then go back to the filtered zip files and unzip them and follow things manually and then once you done that deactivate them from the Package Manager area. Last but not least, look in your Data folder and look for out of place folders and/or files and either delete them or put them in the right place and overwrite if you wish, I just overwrite if the file is bigger and the date is updated, not just one of them.
