Dorbson Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 I know there are a few mods that allow you to do some gardening and there are also a couple other mods that provide fully functional farms. I haven't been able to try these out yet but I have gone over all the descriptions and none of them seem to say anything about whether or not the harvested food is brought into the towns and sold to various merchants throughout the game. If this has been included in any mods please let me know. If not I would very much like to have a mod like this in my game. Think about the possibilities! You could make it so that almost all the food sold in the game MUST come from one of these farms. You could have a whole group of NPC farmers who work the farms and then travel around and deliver the food every few days. To add to the realism you could create a horse cart that the farmers load the food onto and then travel around with. It would have to have a guard escort to protect the food and ensure deliveries are made. There could be silos to store harvested food. Imagine how cool it would be to be traveling and witness a delivery cart go by on its way to the imperial city full of food. If anyone else has any other suggestions to add that would be great. I would be willing to help out in the creation of a mod like this in any way that I can. Who knows maybe this wouldn't be that hard to do. Please comment and leave suggestions, thank you. I think'd you'd need an actual animation for them to put it on the cart, but it can be done with a simple AI package to go over to the cart and "put" the food down on it. As in, they walk over to it and a new static cart goes in place. Everytime, but you need to probably have some Blender skills to do so so the food remains there... I would be willing to help out in anyway I could if a few people want to get together and throws some more ideas around. I am going to start reading up on some tutorials and try to figure things out on my own but if I could get some outside help with getting the ball rolling that would be awesome. Like if you want them to go from some random farm to the IC, you'd need to set an AI package that makes them do so. (e.g. AI type Traveling, then setting the cell for them to go to.
