armourdude
I am still fairly new to creating oblivion mods. I can do basic thinks like weapons and some character editting. Up until now this is all I have needed to do. But I have run into a snag with getting a NPC character face to resemble a real person the way I want. In the construction set I can tweek away all day and it still does not look right. I do not need an exact likeness using textures and importing new meshes. I would think to get a decent resemblenece would not be this difficult. Any advice that can help me would be great. If there is anyone out there that thinks they could do this for me using reference pictures please let me know as well. I am sure we could come to some kind of agreement. dunmermaiden
Try FaceGenI have tried Face gen and when I tranfer the values over it does not even look close. But thanks for the advice anyway. Try My link Here is the utility to import fg files into your savegame: My link to a zip file If you don't already have it, you might want to grab Oblivion Facegen which allows you to use the head mesh Oblivion uses and not the one Facegen comes with so the end result is closer: The Mod Also, Oblivion Face Exchange is handy Another Mod Hope this helps :)
armourdude
Thanks for the advice. I suppose I will have to attempt to use these programs. I really wanted to avoid having to learn and use addional programs with the contruction set. But if this is the only way I guess I will have to do it. Thanks for taking the time to reply. armourdude
I must not be doing something right. I guess I will just have to give up. The refernece photos I have are not of the quality that these programs require. All I want to do is to create a resembalance not an exact likeness. I would not have thought it would be so difficult to be able to do what seems so simple. I think that using the construction set and the utility it has for face shaping would get me close to good enough. I guess that is the type of advice I was looking for. I wonder if anyone could do this for me?
