RoosterMisfit
seriously the movement is so slow for your character. i tried a couple of mods that did make me run faster but npc also sped up and were a bit overwhelming since they are already faster than you

Use PLAYER.SETAV SPEEDMULT (default is 100) in your console to affect only your character. You do need to change your movement speed to get teh change to kick in (like stopping, or switching between one and two handed weapons, etc. I think most scripts apply a bit of damage to the legs to affect teh change. To recap, I'm pretty sure there are mods like this already on nexus, if you can't find them let me know and I can put one together for you. Morgwynn
On a side note I noticed that the Player.Setav Speedmult ( 100-200 ) also effects followers as well but not enemies or other npc's. Or at least that's how it seems to work for me when I use that console command.

Next time you play could you double check for me (I don't get much game time unless it's testing a mod).
Morgwynn
I'll check it out tonight we are having a bit of a heat wave and it's in the mid 30c range so when I play Fallout: New Vegas or Fallout: 3 my laptop overheats in like 5 minutes.

No rush brother, just if you happen to remember next time you play.
Morgwynn
I tested it a little bit last night and only some of my followers kept up to me Russell, Willow and Sunny Smiles kept up to me but Deadpan from Boulder Dome kept falling behind and getting stuck on the map. Tonight i'll try with vanilla companions. I used player.setav speedmult 150 with Russell, Willow and Sunny Smiles but tonight i'll use the vanilla followers and player.setav speedmult 200. Oh and the ones who kept up weren't very far behind, when I would stop I would do a three count 1 . . 2 . . 3 and they would be caught up with the exception of Deadpan who kept getting lost on the map for some reason. Hmmmm that's interesting, I wonder if these mod created companions poll the players AV and set theirs to the same, seems like a smart way to keep your companions up to speed. I'll be curious to see how the vanilla companions do.
