Abducted NPCs? @___@

So.. Here I have some problem, and I could not find any solution around the internet (I haven't read all the forums one by one, anyway @__@). My problem is that some NPCs disappeared from the game. I think it is because of one (or more) of the mods I installed. As of now, the NPCs I saw were missing are:

- Ignacio Rivas at Helios One;
- Colonel Hsu at Camp McCarran;
- Dott. Hildern at Camp McCarran.

Don't know if it helps, but when I first entered camp McCarran, Dr Williams was crouching like she was fleeing from something, but no enemies were found. Also, the corpse of the above is not present in the game, meaning they were not killed o.O

These are my installed mods, not in load order, as for I do not use a mod manager (I'm pretty old school ù.ù)

Do you think that installing a mod manager might prevent this kind of issues? o.O

Thanks for your attention ^_^ [if you have a solution, you can also send me a message :D]

Just a tiny necromantic note since this is one of the very first things that pops up in search engines when looking the issue up.

NPCs can go missing even without mods. The easy way around it is to type player.placeatme baseID into the console and move the missing NPC to you, provided that they haven't been killed.
To look up which baseID the NPC you are interested in is tagged with, easiest way of finding it out is looking it up in one of the wikia articles titled with their names.
Should you not be spawning a person of a certain faction within the boundaries of another, all will be fine.

As this has been raised from the dead anyway, and because it is a top hit in search engines, a couple of other things to note.

* Many NPCs are "bit players" or "extras" who make a single appearance and then vanish. If they have further roles to play, they tend to be "marked essential" until no longer required to advance the main plot of whatever quest to which they belong. But even some that are integral may not be "marked essential" and if killed will prevent certain quest lines from completing by design. You then have to choose to either live with the consequences or replay from an earlier "save point". Just using console commands to resurrect them may work, but may also cause other unexpected problems with scripts that believe them "dead".

OTOH, some NPCs are designed to travel across the Mojave from one location to another, and deliberately risk getting killed. It is common for them to get hung up on some terrain feature as a result of "navmesh" errors. The "easy way" suggested works and may be necessary in some cases, but the "PlaceAtMe" command (if used heavily) can cause "save game bloat". The "MoveTo" function is a better choice, as in "<NPC Base-ID>.moveto PlayerRef". (The "offset" x/y/z parameters are optional.)

* We REALLY need to see your sorted "load order" as produced by "LOOT"; to include the main game and DLC files. With modded games its the sequence, not merely the list of mods, which is the cause of many problems. LOOT's sort gives a good first approximation, correcting the most obvious issues and is sufficient for most players. You can make minor adjustments to the order and tell LOOT how to remember them. It's in the on-line documentation under "Metadata". Instructions on how to copy it's list for posting are in the "How to ask for help" article, and "Checklist Item #11' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

* I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so.
