David Brasher
Mods can't see other mods. (Unless you take special steps.) So if you placed your hot tub in a vanilla Oblivion cell it would show up just fine. But because you have a house mod with a custom mod cell, that cell can't see the tub, and the tub can't see that cell. Three of the possible approaches:(1) Merge your tub mod with your house mod in TES4Gecko.(2) Open the house mod and the tub mod in the CS at the same time with the house mod active. Rename the tub object to create a new form with a new form ID that resides in your house mod and is visible even when the tub mod is not installed. (3) Create a mastered patch using Wrye Bash and other tools to master your house mod to your tub mod. (Don't do this. It is a pain.)

David Brasher
If you can load it up in the CS then it is in the right place : Oblivion\Data\hottub.esp. So you should be able to see the names of both the hot tub mod and the house mod and they should show up in the list of possible mods that TES4 Gecko can merge. When you merge mods, if you keep default settings, the new mod will end up with the lame name "Merged Plugin." (If you try to rename it before merging in TES4 Gecko, the program will likely crash.) After the merge, your hot tub mod and house mods will be untouched. You can rename Merged Plugin to something nicer in Windows Explorer. In the case of this merge, priority does not matter because the two mods do not conflict. So it does not matter which mod you set to 1 and which one you set to 2, or even what numbers you use. Could you provide the forum with more information? Your responses have been a bit terse and monosyllabic. My last reply was shooting in the dark because I was unable to ascertain what stage of the merge process you were at. What stage of the process are you at? What mods do show up in your list? I assume you can see both the tub mod and the house mod but cannot see your new Merged Plugin. Does your new file function correctly even if you can't see it in one of your lists? (Function correctly meaning successfully placing the hot tub in the house in the game while you are playing.) Have you had Windows Vista / Windows 7 problems that required you to reinstall Oblivion to a new directory? If you moved or reinstalled, some of your modding software may not be set up for the new location and things can get lost or show up in weird places. Knowing that the new file will be named Merged Plugin, perhaps you could set the computer to the task of performing an automatic search in Windows Explorer to locate where Merged Plugin is located on your hard drive. It sounds like you have a bit of modding experience. Maybe you should just move to the second suggestion for getting the hot tub into your house:(2) Open the house mod and the tub mod in the CS at the same time with the house mod active. I cannot merge the plugin at all with gecko. Why? Because any mod I create, even though I save it to the data folder, I cannot actually see in the data folder; it just doesn't show up. Now if I create a mod and start up oblivion, I'm able to check it off on the list. But if you actually look in the data folder it is nowhere to be found. I've tried setting it so I can see hidden folders and files and it still does nto show up. Because of that it also does not show up on the list of files I can merge with gecko.
