boostrodamus
I'm trying to mod actors in charge to be able to cast spell to force creatures (specifically ogres) to play specific animations...walkforward, taunt etc. When i direct the plugin to the animation the ogre doesn't do what animation i tell it to. Do i need to change something scripted to get this to work?Change the folder the animations are in?change the animations like walk forward to "idle" in Nifscope? Any of the above or combination thereof? Any guidance to get me on the right track would be much appreciated Thanks! Boostrodamus
fore
Hey boostrodamus, you try interesting things with animations again. And again, you have different optionschange anim to "specialidle_<something>" with Nifskop and put it into the _male\idleanims foldermake a script and call the anim with playgroup (check TES CS wiki for the groups you can play)The 2nd way is certainly easier, but there are restriction due to the hard-coded group names (so you cannot distinguish between normal and power attacks). Good luck.

There would be a page called "ogre" a page called Rat" a page called" bear" etc etc etc. Still lots to learn though...am i stupidly ambitious with this idea? your opinion much appreciated Boostrodamus
fore
No, shouldn't be too hard and a good way to learn modding. The most complicated thing might be to understand how these multi-page selections work, but I think actors in charge has good examples.
